MEMORY MAZE .....HAPPY BIRTHDAY WISHES

Welcome to my latest post for Memory Maze.
Today I would love to share with you my latest creation featuring my beautiful granddaughter, celebrating her 5th birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Firstly, I decided to cut the Memory Maze chipboard and then began working with my Gelatos.  Have I mentioned how wonderful these are to work with on your chipboard pieces?  They do work so well either blended dry with your fingers or alternatively, mixed with a little water.
For the icing on the cupcake, I have used 'Flower soft', which gives a little zest to the Memory Maze chipboard.

ANGEL

For my next creation, I have used a technique shared by our DT member Jodie, using cracked egg shells.  After applying the Glimmer mists, I then applied some Dimensional Magic which gave the Memory Maze chipboard an incredible effect.  Don't you agree?

For the little flourish, a little 'Kindy Glitz' was applied.

Well I trust that you have enjoyed my little journey today and that you will inspired to try something different with your chipboard pieces.
Until next time.....Happy Scrapping

ARTastic May Challenge

Back here again to share the latest challenge over at ARTastic.
This month they feature Sarah Beetson with The return of the young prince.

Criteria is the use of STARS

I decided to try a little bit different with the stars and made them from denim.  These photos were taken when my son was only 3 months only and we were all off to his first party.......oh the 70's such a great era.
Thanks for taking the time to look......until next time happy scrapping.......Love Liz

CAUGHT IN THE ACT by LIZ HOCKING

I am back to share with you my latest work using some incredible Memory Maze products.  At the moment I am loving creating my own backgrounds and playing around with my new Gelatos.
Caught in the Act
To begin with I trimmed down white cardstock, which I then scribbled some Gelato colours randomly onto, and then applied a little water to blend. When dry I used a Memory Maze stencil with some Gesso.
Here, you can see the Memory Maze 'Caught in the Act'  along with the flourish I treated with Gelatos.

Family
For my next layout I chose some vintage pattern paper from Webster that I did have in my stash for sometime.  I teamed it with some fussy cutting as well.
I used the Memory Maze 'Family' chipboard which I embossed.  I have not embossed for some time and enjoyed playing with a couple of colours to get the ideal effect.
Thanks for taking the time to look.
