The  'diamond' shapes are cut from the Parisian papers and as you can see all match perfectly on the doiley base.  Ribbons, flowers, fibres and metal from Meg's Garden.

SPRING PASTEL COLLECTION

Hello Bloggers,

Well there is such a lot happening at home and at Meg's Garden.  We have new members on our Design Team and their work is amazing with lots to inspire and showcase Meg's new collections.

Today for you I am showcasing the new 'Spring Pastel Collection'.  You may remember last month that I completed a Card Box?  Well here today are the cards I have created to place inside the box.  I hope you agree that this makes a lovely present for a special friend.

This Spring collection is amazing, with suiting various  colours of cardstock .

With this frame, I reworked an old plastic frame, that I am sure we all have in our stash somewhere :)
A bit of gesso and some embossing powder and then Stayz On  stamping and there we have it....a new frame to suit.

A couple of Meg's Garden embellishments, lace and some fussy cutting from the 'Cut and Create' range here.

With this final card, ribbon and string pearls to finish off this card.

I hope that you have be inspired here and take a closer look at the Spring Collection HERE.  Until next time ....happy creating   and hope you can have some time to create of the Christmas break.  I wish you all a happy Christmas.  Liz.

SPRING PASTELS COLLECTION - CARD BOX

Hello Bloggers,

Today I would like to share with you Meg's Garden new collection 'Spring Pastels'.  It is a wonderful range with so many soft pastels all matching, teamed with the Create and Cut pages.

SPRING PASTELS CARD BOX
I was so taken with this range, I decided to make a little card box to give as a present.  These are so easy to make and with the right papers and embellishments makes an idea gift.

I had so much fun placing the embellishments around the box.
As you can see the front has an acetate window to showcase a special card.
I have incorporated a card to show how all things match perfectly.
Well thank you for taking the time to look and be sure to keep a look out next month for more matching cards.  Have a great month creating and until next time.....happy scrapping.....love Liz

VINTAGE JOURNAL PAPERS PAPERCRAFTER AND ROSE QUARTZ

Good afternoon Bloggers, Liz here today.

I hope you have been enjoying the new collection from Meg's Garden, 'Vintage Journal' and today I am sharing with you my Journal.  You will see that it is still a 'work in progress', but could not wait to share ideas with you all.

VINTAGE JOURNAL
My journal was so easy to put together, just add some little embellishments and die cuts and off you go.
I made this little keyhole with some shrink wrap I was playing around with and so suited the papers.
And a little heat embossing on my die cut suited the men in the picture.

Another page ready to go.

I will be cutting some cardstock to insert in between these pages so I can add the photos.  Once it is
complete I will add the hinges and brads and it will be complete.
ROSE QUARTZ SYMPATHY CARDS
I recently created a tin of cards for a 70th birthday and to include in the 'stash' I used some Rose Quartz papers to create 3 cards.

This is such a beautiful collection and can be used in many ways to create an array of beautiful cards.
I hope you have enjoyed todays journey and be sure to check out more of Meg's Garden Collection
Thanks for taking the time to look and until next time happy creating.   Liz

Fathers Day Card and Treasure Tree

Hello Bloggers,
Thanks for visiting today and what a day to visit, with new collection this month.  I was over the moon with it, as it is perfect timing here in the Southern Hemisphere being Fathers Day this Sunday.

Fathers Day Card

For this card I have used Megs Garden new collection of 'Time' and 'For the Gentleman' Ephemera, along with Megs Garden ribbons and metal embellishments.

Treasure Tree for Father

I have had this tree in my stash for some years and decided to create a 'little treasure' tree for Fathers Day.  I really love Megs Garden new Collections and decided to keep the theme going using 'Time' and 'For the Gentleman' Ephemera papers.

and here are a few close ups to see how both collections work together.  I also used Pinecone Versa Ink which matches perfectly with the collections.  Meg's Garden also has wonderful embellishments such as this little glass message bottle and metal trinkets.

Also Meg has some gorgeous ribbons and this navy double sided ribbon is perfect for masculine work.
I hope that you have enjoyed todays journey through Megs Garden new collection and thanks for taking the time in stopping by.  Until next time.....happy creating....Liz

EVERLASTING CARD AND ROSE QUARTZ LAYOUT by LIZ HOCKING

Hello Bloggers,

Well here in the Southern Hemisphere we are starting to get into our winter months and there is nothing better than keeping warm, cardmaking and of course anything else  paper related.

I trust that you have been using Meg's Garden new collection 'Rose Quartz' and today I have created a layout using some of these beautiful papers, along with an 'everlasting' card.

Firstly the layout which I have named 'Congrats'.  I did some work on the background cardstock and then set to placing this beautiful paper around my photo.

Teamed with Meg's Garden Doiley, charms and amazing lace.
This flower lace, you would have to agree is so divine and a pleasure to use.  With all that now completed here is the finished layout.
Next, I have created an 'Everlasting' card using some of Meg's Garden beautiful collections, which work so well together.  I have tried my hand at making a short video to show the workings of the card and how it unfolds.  It is perfect for using up all your little pieces of 'leftovers'.  You do, however, have to keep your embellishments to a minimum and not too bulky.

Thanks for taking the time to look and don't forget to keep a look out for the next new collection.

4 SPECIALTY CARDS WITH ROSE QUARTZ COLLECTION - by LIZ HOCKING

Hello Bloggers,

Liz here with you today showcasing the wonderful new Rose Quartz Collection from Meg's Garden.
I have used  Rose Quartz Papercrafter pack which is a perfect accompaniment for your cards.
Firstly here is a 'look see' at the 3 cards and following you can see them in more detail.

This collection is well suited to 'specialty' cards and the first one I would like to share with you is my 'arch' card.

A little bit of fussy cutting to set off the printed  paper.

Then teamed with a little metal butterfly from Meg's Garden

Next is a little 'peek-a-boo' card

It certainly is amazing how you can use this wonderful Papercraft pack.  Next is a little triangle card which worked perfectly with some of Meg's Garden lace and flowers.

Finally for you, I have created a 'acetate window' card.  Unfortunately it is a little hard to see that it is a window, but I know you will get the idea.    Petals, leaves and lace  fitted so well in the window.

I hope you have enjoyed today's journey through the Rose Quartz Collection and for more of the collection please visit http://megsgarden.com/
Thanks for taking the time to look and see you next time.....Happy Scrapping......Liz
