MOOMBA LET'S GET TOGETHER WITH STENCILS.

'MOOMBA' LET'S GET TOGETHER WITH STENCILS AND DRESSMAKER'S CARD

Hello Bloggers,
Such a beautiful time of the year in the Southern Hemisphere.  Spring time and certainly lots of sun.  Although it is lovely to see all that sun, makes it a bit hard to get some scrapping done.

MOOMBA

For my newest layout titled 'MOOMBA' I have teamed the wonderful Memory Maze Stencils with  my Gelatos with stunning results.
These stencils are so versatile and work so well with textured paste and the Gelatos for a different effect on your work.   Sometimes you just love getting messy.  And here is my final result.

DRESSMAKER'S CARD

Had a lot of fun creating this birthday card for my dressmaker friend.  Firstly I decorated a cut out dress form with some embossing powder. And then further decorated with some Memory Maze Bling.

CHIPBOARD CARD FOR MEG'S GARDEN

Good day to all our Blogger friends,

Glad you have decided to visit our Blog once again, so hope you will have a cuppa and settle down for our latest inspiration.

I was looking through my stash and found a 'LOVE' mini chipboard album.   I thought that the lovely Meg's Garden 'English Rose Garden' Collection would be suit this album.  As I was choosing which papers from this collection to use, I decided it would make a 'different' , but lovely Wedding Card for my niece who is getting married later in the year.

I have also used English Rose Garden 'cut and create', teamed with Meg's Garden lace, ribbons and doileys.

As you can see I have also used my Big Shot machine to create words, embellishments from the Collection.  They worked out a treat, don't you think?

I had so much fun putting this altogether and was so glad that I had decided to turn it into a Wedding Card and here it is all completed.

I hope you have enjoyed your journey today and be sure to keep a look out at what is coming up in the near future.  Until next time.......Happy Scrapping.....regards Liz DT Member

MEMORY MAZE .....SOME KIND OF BEAUTIFUL

Welcome Bloggers.
I trust this post is going to inspire you with creating something special with your chipboard pieces, or alternatively popping over to the MEMORY MAZE SHOP to get your hands on the latest creations.

BEAUTIFUL

As usual and like the rest of us, I am sure, I found the perfect patterened paper for my photo.  However, it was a bit stark, so I applied some gesso to tone down the colours a little bit.
I then used the Memory Maze 'Beautiful' which I inked and  then applied a little Kindy Glitz, which really did set it off.
Then a lovely Memory Maze flourish which I cut up and applied the same technique.
Some stamping, die cuts and more bling and what do you know???? Another completed layout

BIRTHDAY GREETINGS

I have created this card for my sister.  It was her birthday earlier in September and she just loves the colour blue, so  naturally I set about using her fav. colour.
Firstly, I made a 'dress form' and had a little play with my 'Metallic Melts' embossing powders.
Some stamping and of course some lovely Memory Maze Bling.
And there you have it.  My sister was 'over the moon' to receive this card.

A BIT OF NOSTALGIA & FATHER'S DAY CARD by Liz Hocking

Hello Bloggers,
Well another month nearly over and Christmas will be upon us before we know it.  I have recently been getting my granddaughters' albums up to date to include their great grandparents.

FAMILY
For this layout I started with a sheet of old patterned paper that I have had for some time and applied some Gesso and a little bronze coloured textured paste. I then used the Memory Maze 'flower' stencil and applied it with textured paste to the patt. paper.
I had lots of fun using Gelatos to colour the flowers and they came up a treat, don't you think?
I then used the negative chipboard 'sunburst' and applied gesso and gelatos and some Modge Podge
Once this was all done, I started with my favourite part of any layout, building it all up with embellishments.  I just had to work on the Memory Maze chipboard 'Family' which I used metallic melts.  I so love the effect that these melts give to chippies, they either can be heated flat or you can make them 'bubble'.
and here is the end result.

FATHER'S DAY CARD

Well with Father's day coming around quick in the southern hemisphere, I thought I would try something different.  I usually do not place chipboard on my cards, but with this lovely grand father clock from Memory  Maze I would not resist using it.  I then treated it with
Art Extra Vagance Textured Paste, Gold crackle.

Then with some new patterned paper I set to putting my card together and here is the end result.  I was so happy with the effect the crackle medium had on the grand clock.

STENCILLING TO THE MAX FOR MEMORY MAZE

Hello bloggers, so glad to be with you again this month.
I am pretty excited to share my latest work with you and hope that it encourages you to play along with some of the wonderful stencils from Memory Maze.
Such an amazing day
Armed with a few of Memory Maze stencils, 8 cm circles and 'Impesto' paste, I set to work.
I did make 9 circles so as I had a choice when putting my layout together.
Then the fun begins.  I set about placing circles around my page and got to work with my Gelatos and Gesso.  I finished off with some stamping.
I finished off the layout using Memory Maze 'Such an Amazing day' chipboard, which is such a delicate title.

AUGUST ARCHISCRAP CHALLENGE

Hello Bloggers,

Well I don't believe it.........yes another month has passed us by and this month seems to be heading that way.
I trust that with this freezing weather, you have all been creating with lots happening in the scrapbooking world.
For this month's challenge over at Archiscraps, we had inspiration from a couple of pics and had to use something clear on our layouts.
Sometimes it would be nice to live in a bubble, but would not like it all the time .  Hahha
So here is my creation on my layout I have used an acetate photo slide.
Thanks for taking the time to look and be sure to keep an eye on my blog for my next creation for Memory Maze.
Until next time.....happy scrapping.........Liz
